The gentle terrain makes it perfect for families, beginner hikers, and anyone looking for a relaxing hike in Andorra. Since we live in Ordino we love to hike to Andorra la Vella, have lunch there and take the L6 bus back.

Route Description
This linear hiking route in Andorra follows the historic Camí Ral, running alongside the beautiful Valira d’Orient. The trail stays close to the river the entire way, allowing hikers to enjoy the relaxing sound of flowing water and the refreshing mountain air.
The route is flat, easy, and accessible, making it an ideal family hike in Andorra. It’s perfect for a relaxing walk in nature while discovering one of the traditional historic paths of the country.
Practical Information
This is a very accessible hiking route, perfect for beginners or families with children who want to experience easy hiking in Andorra.
You can park your vehicle at the Prat del Molí Parking before starting the walk. Along the route, you will find a water fountain near the church of Sant Antoni de la Grella, which is the only water source on this trail.
The hike
The hike begins with a short section along a quiet road that follows the old Camí Ral. Soon after, you join the Camí de les Gravades, which connects to the newer pedestrian section of the Camí Ral trail.
From here, the path continues peacefully along the Valira d’Orient, offering beautiful river views throughout the walk. Because of its accessibility, you may share the trail with other hikers and occasionally cyclists.
During the final section, the route passes by the historic Moles d’Anyós before reaching the picturesque Sant Antoni de la Grella, where you will find the water fountain.
If you continue a little further, you will cross the charming Pont Romànic de Sant Antoni de la Grella. A few meters beyond the bridge you reach the Oratori de Sant Antoni, which marks the turnaround point of the hike. From here, simply return along the same scenic path back to the starting point.
